Black Lives Matter

I’ve been meaning to write a post on my values for months. I could just never get the words to flow. I started writing this post on Monday, stayed silent for #BlackOutTuesday, our team had a conversation about our values and how to examine ourselves on Tuesday, then again on Wednesday, and again on Thursday. Now it’s Friday and I’ve finally put the finishing touches on this post. I’m sure there are flaws, but I don’t want to be silent.

Staying Connected

I’m looking forward to the days when in-person coffee can happen again, but for now I’m figuring out what works given my circumstances. I’ve also noticed that a lot of people I know are joining TiKTok, I’m not there yet but who knows…

What does it mean to be a Licensed Real Estate Agent?

I met a client at a property last week and we got to chatting as we were waiting for the listing agent to arrive. He worked in International Development so I was telling him about my previous career which was very aligned and how I had recently decided to make a move to real estate.

His first question: “Are you licensed?”

My response: “Yes! If I wasn’t licensed I couldn’t be here showing you this property.”
